How to Help

Leonor needs specialist therapies every day. In physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy alone, the association needs on average €26,000 per year — and that is without counting medication, supplements, orthopaedic equipment and transport. Every contribution, large or small, makes a real difference.

Where does your donation go?

  • Specialist therapies

    Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and hydrotherapy — regular and essential sessions for Leonor’s development.

  • Orthopaedic and adapted equipment

    Wheelchair, orthoses, walkers and other equipment that Leonor needs day to day and which carry significant costs.

  • Medication and supplements

    Specific medication and supplements that complement treatment and are not fully covered by the health system.

  • Transport

    The family covers many kilometres each week to take Leonor to therapies and appointments. Every bit of help eases this burden.

What you can donate

  • Plastic packaging — bottles, jars, detergent and shampoo containers, etc.
  • PET bottles — clean and crushed, without labels.
  • Aluminium cans — from soft drinks, tinned food, etc.

O que NÃO é aceite

  • Embalagens de combustíveis ou óleos — mesmo que lavadas, contaminam o lote.
  • Embalagens de manteiga, margarina ou cosméticos gordurosos — difíceis de limpar e contaminantes.
  • Cápsulas de café — encaminhar para os pontos de recolha específicos do fabricante.
  • Cartão — destina-se ao ecoponto azul, não ao amarelo.
  • Pilhas — depositar nos contentores próprios de pilhas usadas.
  • Rolhas — têm circuito de reciclagem próprio; não misturar com o plástico.
